Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holidays required if needed
On-Call Requirements: Rotating call pool to accommodate dips in the census

- Consist of mainly tele/cardiac patients
- # of Beds in unit: 16
- RN to Patient ratio: 4:1
- Patient Population: Adult - Geriatric
- EMR: Cerner
- Dress code: any color scrubs
- Remote Tele Unit
- MUST be able to follow & comfortably the Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift
- Please check the job posting requirements for the 14-panel drug screen and make sure your agency can run this ENTIRE panel (within 24 hours of offer acceptance) BEFORE you upload your traveler to this need. Thank you!
- As of 1/1/24 – all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility will pend upon offer (Must show proofs of application within 24 hours of offer acceptance). We will allow one of the following groups:
- Requested time off during this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
- Must be comfortable and hit the ground running working Nights
- Strong proficiency & experience working on Cardiac/Tele, Med-Tele Units - Required
- Previous travel experience: strongly strongly encouraged
- Must have telemetry experience
- MUST be able to comfortably follow the Department expectations to interpret, measure & document cardiac rhythms 2x/shift
- Neuro/stroke experience encouraged
- Please disclose any previous Glens Falls Hospital (or Albany Med) experience on profile
- Work History
- Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, PERM ADDRESS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
