Location: Corvallis, OR 97330 Start Date: 4/4/2024 Shift: Nights, Full Time Salary: $81,000.00 to $127,000.00 Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct, and indirect patient care while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Department DescriptionThe Progressive Care Unit/Critical Care Unit supports patients experiencing a variety of complex conditions and provides care through advanced knowledge and experience in a setting that provides increased monitoring, assessments, and interventions. ExperienceEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Either Six (6) months of RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or a related area, or successful completion of an SHS PCU or Critical Care Internship is required.
Cross-train to ICU within 1 year; unless other arrangements are made with Management.
PCU and basic EKG experience preferred.
Education
Verification of a high school diploma or equivalent is required due to the College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Licenses, Certifications, And/or Registration
Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
ACLS is required within six (6) months of hire.
