Assignment Start Date: 2/26/2024
13 weeks | Nights | 12-hour shift | 36 hours/week guaranteed The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed number of hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please contact a recruiter for full details. The ED RN position provides direct care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other specialties as required, and adjusts the nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. Working well under pressure, our RNs collaborate with other health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care. Our knowledgeable and passionate RNs continuously learn and grow within their roles. RNs must be able to learn quickly and be proactive team members. Our rural ED has nine beds, a 4-bed mental health support area, and sees over 14k patients per year. We prioritize holistic care, ensuring that patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met with compassion and proficiency. You will be accountable to the Nursing Director and work closely with the Nursing Supervisor during your shift, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
ExperienceEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Shift: 7 pm - 7 am. 2 -12 hour shifts per week.
**Orientation will be the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month**

ExperienceEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
- Requires a minimum of three years of Emergency Room experience
- Possessing a current Vermont RN or multi-state licensure
- BLS/BCLS and ACLS are required.
- PALS/ENPC and TNCC are required.
