We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our daily activities in our Iowa branch. The operations manager’s role is mainly to implement the right processes and practices across the organization. The specific duties of an operations manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources, and securing compliance.

Operations manager duties and responsibilities may include interviewing, selection, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional that will work closely with the Director of Operations, Corporate Operations, development, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
• Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
• Help the organization’s process and procedures.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.

· Create and give reports to the Director of Operations on the current overall state of the business.

· Organize scheduling, training, and onboarding.

· Encourage employees to work in a positive environment.

· Hire, onboard and train staff.

· Oversee processes to find areas of improvement.

· Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
