Location: Indianapolis, INPay Range: $85,000 to $100,000OverviewCome grow with us by joining our team as a Manager, Rental Fleet Maintenance! In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles. A key aspect of this role is to build out and manage a robust vendor network to ensure our vehicles are maintained at the highest standards and downtime is minimized. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset to develop and sustain vendor relationships that align with our operational goals.

- Vendor Network Development:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new maintenance and repair vendors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Negotiate service agreements, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Develop scalable means to approve or decline large quantities of maintenance requests submitted both internally and externally.
- Continuously assess vendor performance through regular reviews and feedback.
- Fleet Maintenance Coordination:
- Approve or decline routine maintenance and emergency repairs for fleet vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance history to predict and prevent potential issues.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to reduce vehicle downtime.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on fleet maintenance activities, costs, and vendor performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on fleet maintenance strategies.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in fleet maintenance coordination or a related role.
- Proven experience in building and managing vendor networks.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proven track record of achieving KPI targets and managing client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
