Modern Home Furniture in Everett Washington, is a fast growing company that is currently seeking a Associate/Warehouse that would like to make the Furniture Industry a career. As a warehouse employee you will assist the orders from customers, vendors and the overall inventory of both the stores, website and the warehouse. Logistical knowledge is important and ability to communicate well with customers both by phone and text and professionals in the industry. Advanced problem solving, including math.

The employee will be responsible for all incoming, and exiting product. Understanding product levels, including shipments, and inventory a must. Modern Home Furniture is committed to safety, and a clean work environment. Understanding racking and picking systems a plus. Including running ot=r can be trained to run a picker and assisting in moving products in the warehouse and the retail location as well.

Applicants must be able to lift easily 50 lb for long periods of time and drive a 15ft. box truck. Must be quick on their feet, take instruction with a positive smile, and are a fast learner and stay organized. Must be able to keep a clean and organized work area and are accomplished assemblers. Assemble of products quickly is a must, and is able to move products in the warehouse and keep the area well inventoried and organized.

Must have above average computer knowledge on systems and writing skills for email and text.

This position is a critical customer service position. You are the first and final point of contact at times between the company and our customers. As such, this position needs an outgoing personality, be a self starter/thinker & able to work in a fast paced environment, and have a clean presentation.

- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments- Build and assemble product orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cherry pickers- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update system records- Fulfill customer orders by picking items from designated locations within the warehouse- Stock inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and OSHA regulationsQualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or cherry pickers
- Familiarity with RF scanners or other inventory management systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
