Job Description:

As the Travel Vertical Lead at Modern Luxury, you will have the unique opportunity to drive the growth and success of our travel vertical. We are seeking a visionary professional with a strong background in luxury travel sales, territory management, and business development. This individual will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key partners, generating leads, and expanding our presence in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Spearhead the growth of the travel vertical by developing and implementing strategic sales plans and initiatives.
2. Identify and cultivate direct relationships with luxury travel brands, hotels, resorts, airlines, cruise lines, and other partners.
3. Drive revenue growth through direct national B2B luxury sales, territory management, and quota achievement.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, publishers, and stakeholders to develop innovative advertising solutions and content strategies that resonate with our audience.
5. Leverage your expertise in digital and print advertising to create compelling campaigns and placements for travel partners.
6. Provide leadership and guidance to local sales teams across our 23 markets, empowering them to effectively sell and execute travel-related advertising opportunities.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive insights to inform strategic decision-making.
8. Represent Modern Luxury as a thought leader and expert in the luxury travel space through participation in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
9. Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular reporting to senior management on key initiatives and results.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of travel-related content and campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct national B2B luxury sales and territory management, preferably within the media industry.
• Proven track record of quota achievement and revenue growth
• Comprehensive understanding of digital and print advertising, with a focus on the luxury travel sector.
• Strong relationships with luxury travel brands, hotels, resorts, airlines, and agencies.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives forward.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and results-driven.
• Fashion industry experience is a plus.

Pay Range: $150,000-$200,000 OTE ( on target earnings)
