Our growing Periodontal practice is seeking an experienced, energetic Sterilization Tech/Dental Assistant. This position is more than just a job, it is an opportunity to learn and build upon your existing skill set.

Our Sterilization Tech/Dental Assistant's primary focus is to support the delivery of exceptional clinical care and an ideal patient experience.

Pre-dental students, students working on their EDDA certification, or anyone that may be interested in the dental field are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities Include:

*Ensuring the proper use, maintenance and functioning of sterilization equipment

*Organizing the sterilization area for optimal efficiency

*Ensuring that proper chairside protocol is followed for the handling of all instruments, after sterilization and after use

*Disinfecting operatories between procedures

*Assisting chairside during procedures

*Serve as infection control lead

*Complying with all OSHA and safety policies & procedures

Requirements:

*Knowledge of Dental Terminology

*Good manual dexterity

*Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs

*Willingness to participate in Continuing Education training
