Modern SLC Injections & Aesthetics is Hiring a Practice Manager of Medical Spa Near Salt Lake, UT

Modern SLC Injections & Aesthetics is looking for a reliable, trustworthy individual to help us continue to grow and expand. Experience as manager/director is required. Preferred to have experience in the medical or aesthetic industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Practice Manager

REPORTS TO: Owner

JOB SUMMARY: This position works in concert with the owner in overseeing administrative, financial, and developmental activities of the practice.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Baccalaureate degree in business administration, health care administration, or similar.

2. At least five years of hospital or medical practice management experience, preferably within a medical spa practice.

3. Strong financial background with previous experience in accounts payable, general ledger, tax reporting, and budgeting.

4. Demonstrable experience in personnel management and administration of payroll systems.

5. In-depth knowledge of compliance, personnel law, workplace safety, and other regulatory issues pertaining to group practice.

4. Able to effectively sustain multiple simultaneous tasks.

6. Ability to anticipate critical issues and design effective interventions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Operations: Maintains appropriate oversight of practice financial operations with direct responsibility for end of day financial reconciliation, deposits and monthly budgeting.

2. Personnel Management: Ensures effective coordination of staff efforts, provides support and assistance staff, oversees supervision and training of practice staff, encourages optimal performance, and maintains compliance with standardized operating procedures and governmental regulations.

3. Communication with Owner: Provides ongoing and timely communication to the owner regarding the status of the partnership and practice. Coordinates regular meetings and maintains written agendas and minutes for all partnership meetings. Provides appropriate and accurate data to facilitate informed decision-making by the owner.

4. Strategic Planning and Practice Development: Identifies opportunities for practice growth and revenue diversification and ensures effective implementation and subsequent management of designated priorities. Monitors developments in the local market and provides recommendations regarding appropriate responses and strategies, and ensures implementation of planning initiatives. Has supervisory responsibility for marketing efforts.

5. Practice Liaison: Acts as a liaison for the practice in coordinating its dealings with legal counsel, accountants, consultants, and other advisors.

6. Regulatory Compliance and Service Standards: Ensures appropriate regulatory compliance and quality standards in all aspects of practice services provided to patients and maintains effective methods for assessing such performance.

7. Referral Relations: Maintains positive and loyal relationships among referring specialists, actively solicits and resolves areas of concern, and provides appropriate training and coordination assistance for referring offices.

8. Payer Relations and Contract Administrator: Maintains appropriate communication with payers, sustaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships; also monitors payer contract performance and provides evaluation of potential contracting opportunities.

9. Facilities/Equipment Management: Maintains oversight partnership facilities and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safekeeping. Also ensures maintenance of supplies inventories and maintains appropriate processes for ordering and storage of such supplies.

10. Other Duties: Performs other duties and assumes various responsibilities as determined by the owner.

Pay range starting around 65K/year but can vary depending on experience. Performance bonuses based on practice performance.

Please note this is a growing practice with a new role. Someone who is proactive, driven and a go getter is required.
