Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our team. This position will be remote but will require occasional in-person meetings. Exceptional candidates located near major MTSI offices including Dayton, OH, Huntsville, AL, and Alexandria, VA is a plus. Responsibilities

This is a staff position reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts. In this position, the Contracts Manager will provide subject matter expertise to a variety of contracts, procurement, and pricing activities. As a hands-on contracts leader duties will include:

• Administration of complex and strategic proposals and contracts from pre award through award and execution
• Preparing price proposals and cost volumes including detailed cost narratives
• Review and negotiation of terms and conditions for new contracts
• Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers
• Managing special projects
• Supporting DCMA audits, compliance, and business system reviews
• Mentoring more junior staff

Qualifications

• 10 years of federal government contract administration experience
• In depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and supplements (FAR/DFAR/etc.).
• Experience managing Firm Fixed Price, T&M, and Cost-Plus contracts.
• In depth knowledge of Organization Conflict of Interest (OCI) and Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI)
• Experience working with GSA AAS Contracting Offices (FEDSIM, Region 4, etc.)
• Experience in working with GSA Contracts and Schedules, and BPAs
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication
• Highly organized, with attention to details and time management
• Works well in team environment and independently
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
• Experience with DELTEK Contract Module a plus
• Experience in Procurement a plus
• NCMA certification a plus (CACM, CPCM, CFCM)

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret Clearance preferred but not required. Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
