The Role
The Specialist, Distribution & Logistics, is responsible for scheduling international and domestic shipments originating at US Moderna entities.
In this role, the Specialist must effectively respond to business needs while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements such as GDP / GMP, Cold Chain, and Trade Compliance.
The Specialist will be responsible for arranging and being the voice for the customer for all shipments from the Norwood manufacturing and other sites as required.
This role involves daily collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders to maintain and execute daily shipments according to procedures.
The Specialist must understand and provide the required documentation, adhere to import / export regulations, possess knowledge of packaging engineering, and ensure accurate and complete processing of transactions in Moderna's validated systems as well as unique business tools.
This role requires a high degree of attention to every detail of shipment preparation and execution as each shipment is unique and the activities are to be performed on a very tight timelines to meet our customer's needs.
