Our Lansing, MI location is currently looking for a Branch Manager to develop and lead our growing team of technicians in this region. The ideal Branch Manager candidate will have ample experience leading and coaching a team and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get in the trenches. The perfect candidate will hold the bar high when it comes to customer service and be capable of motivating other to do great things. To succeed in this role, you must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and have excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, Manage and hold Team Members Accountable (15-20 direct reports- fluctuates seasonally)
• Ensure all Team Members, Company Vehicles, Facility and Grounds looks their best
• Develop your team's technical skills for all service offerings
• Develop your team's customer service skills and ensure that all jobs performed out of your location are done in the Modernistic Way up to the highest standards of quality
• Coach and motivate Team Members on sales
• Foster an open and honest environment for Team Members and inspire great teamwork and positive morale in order to attract and retain the best talent
• Implement/enforce Company policies
• Submit daily payment to Accounting
• Maintain supply inventory for crews at your facility
• Facilitate team member onboarding, offboarding and promotions
• High Level Customer Problem Solving
• Serve as the liaison of your branch to other departments (Fleet & Facilities, Supplies, Logistics, Accounting and Marketing)
• Serve on the steering committee for the Field Service Team statewide, participating in problem solving and research and development initiatives

Requirements

• 3 years of management experience
• 3 years customer service experience
• Moderate experience and comfortability in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Commitment to outstanding customer service both internally (to co-workers) and externally (to customers)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Industry related experience is a plus
• Sales experience is a plus
• Experience using Salesforce is a plus
• Public speaking experience is a plus
