Modigent is Hiring an IT Manager Near Phoenix, AZ

The Information Technology Manager will be a hands-on leader who manages and directs the company’s information technology (IT) operations to include enterprise applications, desktop, hardware systems, network management, end-user support, data analytics, security, electronic data interchange process, technical integrations, application management and third-party providers. The IT Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the IT department and will plan, direct, and control all activities of the department to ensure all employees receive high-quality IT services.
Job Requirements
  • Develop and manage an Information Services staff and resources including the use of outside resources (i.e. contractors, consultants, software / technology / communications providers, etc.).
  • Develop strategy and objectives as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems) to ensure the IT capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Monitor policies and procedures of the company and how they relate or impact information services and technology.
  • Primary lead in project management for the implementation and maintenance of Information and Technology Services.
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring systems performance
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of IT systems
  • Develop, establish, and document operating policies and approaches for computing and IT, providing written protocols as needed.
  • Oversight of the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including firewalls, servers, PCs, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and all peripherals.
  • Manage the selection and ongoing management of 3rd party providers for outsourced infrastructure services, including cloud services, server operations, networks, and desktop configuration.
  • Remain current with the solutions landscape applicable to the business and recommend new solutions to solve current and anticipated business problems
  • Establish end-user support service levels, reporting metrics, and driving technology improvements through the eyes of the end users and management team.
  • Accountable for developing, monitoring and reporting on operating and capital budgets for the department and associated applications.
  • Responsible for working closely and collaboratively with all business leadership and staff throughout the organization to proactively facilitate technical solutions and process management solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects.
  • Experience managing and evaluating IT staff performance.
  • Experience leading an environment involving cloud-based hosting and solutions, EDI, API and middleware interfaces, and database design/implementation.
  • Proven project management experience, including the ability to successfully prioritize and implement competing priorities, challenging workloads, and changing priorities.
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to demonstrate a positive communication style, strong critical thinking skills, and a creative and collaborative approach to problem-solving required.
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems.
  • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), network, infrastructure.
  • AZURE cloud management experience.
  • Experience in controlling information technology budget.
  • Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries, as well as to potential acquisitions to conduct due diligence
