Senior Production Technician – Direct Hire

Currently looking for a skilled individual to fill a Direct Hire Senior Production Technician opening with a company in Eden Prairie, MN. Interested candidates should have 5 years of experience working as a Production Technician in the medical device industry and a strong electrical background, including assembly, repair/troubleshooting, soldering and a self-starter personality.

Senior Production Technician Job Description:

• Work independently to troubleshoot non-conforming capital systems & sub-components and Identify root cause failure modes
• Investigate and conduct root cause failure mode analysis on navigation machines, which include electro-mechanical chassis, computers, displays and touch pads
• Evaluation of returned capital assets for potential repairs and necessary upgrades as part of the depot service repair activities.
• Use assembly drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to solder and use electrical testing equipment (oscilloscope & multi-meter)
• Assist manufacturing engineering with process improvements, fixture development, and equipment maintenance and validations.
• Provide overflow capacity for standard production activities by assisting with capital asset builds, production release testing, and crating for shipment.
• Assist with experimentation and evaluation of new designs, processes, and software revisions.

Senior Production Technician Job Requirements:

• 5 years Medical Device and Electrical experience, required
• Electrical troubleshooting experience, required
• Extensive soldering experience
• Startup/small business experience, preferred

The starting salary for the Senior Production Technician position is $70,000-$80,000 annually.
