Summary
Senior Foundation Accounting Analyst
Position Highlights:
Reporting to the Manager of Philanthropic Finance Fund Management, the Senior Philanthropic Accounting Analyst is primarily responsible for preparation/maintenance of the Foundation accounting subledger to support accurate and timely fund balances. As a member of the Development Operations team, the Senior Philanthropic Accounting Analyst will work closely with the Manager of Philanthropic Finance Fund Management and other teams across the organization to ensure financial data flows through the Financial Edge accounting system in accordance with Foundation and Finance policies. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of analytical reports and reconciliations to ensure compliance with Foundation and Finance accounting standards. Areas of emphasis primarily include oversight of significant fund management components and reporting on fund balances. Requires preparation and/or review of reconciliations, journal entries, calculations, reports, and internal controls. The Senior Philanthropic Accounting Analyst will support the continued implementation of Foundation fund management processes and assist the Manager of Philanthropic Finance Fund Management with integrating institutional priorities into the process. |
