Typical Duties
Ensure the design, development and delivery of courses with sound instructional design practices; assisting facilitation staff with the selection of instructional strategies, aligning course content with stated course outcomes, and ensuring course equality through the appropriate blend of pedagogy and technology based on learning theory and instructional design practices.
Create, develop and integrate student-facing support materials / media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, case studies, etc.
for instruction or lab experiences.Develop appropriate assessment instruments and criteria if requested.Recommend instructional design and delivery changes and assist in implementation of approved changes.
Keep records and prepare required reports consistent with college policy; submit in order to meet all reporting deadlines as prescribed by college policy and procedures.
Communicate effectively.Demonstrate a commitment to student success.Adhere to class schedules and meet attendance standards.
Research and advocate for best practices in teaching and learning.Design, develop and deliver phases for sound instructional design practices;
assisting faculty with the selection of instructional strategies, aligning course content with stated course outcomes, and ensuring course quality through the appropriate blend of pedagogy and technology based on learning theory and instructional design practices.
