Position: Accounting Clerk(HI-FI, Easy Rider Restaurant, MOKB Presents and Houselight Ventures)

Compensation: commensurate with experience - $18-$20/hr
Our Finance Team prides themselves on the ability to turnaround financials in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented and have an ability to understand and follow instructions closely. We are looking for a hard-working and dependable candidate who is willing to learn and contribute to the team. This position reports to the Controller and a Part-Time CFO.
Responsibilities:
- Coding and data entry of all General Ledger transactions
- Entering journal entries to produce accurate monthly and event profit and loss statements for multiple companies
- Tracking of invoices, proper coding and data entry for Accounts Payable
- Assist the Controller with various accounting responsibilities as directed by the Controller
Qualifications:
- Experience in bookkeeping, payroll and QuickBooks Desktop is helpful, but not required
- Experience in A/P, A/R, General Ledger and Financial Account Reconciliations and Analysis is helpful, but not required
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets and Gmail
- Ability to manage large volumes of data and to create Pivot tables
- Proficient in both PC and Mac platforms
- Self-starter who can multi-task effectively and work independently
- Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills are essential
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Tolerance for repetitive tasks
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Quick and accurate word processing and typing skills
