A well funded and growing biotech company is looking for a Research Associate to support drug development projects. This candidate will support R&D, with projects focused in protein expression and characterization. This position offers a very challenging and rewarding work environment, within a growing biotech company.
Responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of high throughput assays.
• Assist Senior Scientists in the development of protein screening techniques.
• Plans, execute and analyze experiments under minimal supervision, utilizing molecular techniques.
• Analyze and present scientific data and experiment results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Experience with protein expression and purification (either in industry or academia).
• Familiarity with high-throughput liquid handling.
• AKTA experience preferred
• 1 - 3 years of industry experience preferred
