Job Summary Release of Information Clerk coordinates the proper release of information on all requests received for medical information, including locating, copying, mailing and billing in a timely and efficient manner. Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of Health Information Technology program or 2 years’ medical records experience may be considered in place of education program.
previous experience release protocol preferred. Ability to deal with effectively with the public. Must possess reading, writing and mathematical skills and ability to understand written instruction.
c. Minimum License Requirement :
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions Light Work : Frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing up to10 lbs with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
