Monarch Cabinetry’s Face Frame team members are an integral part of the cabinet making process. It is because of their attention to detail that we are able to produce frames to our customers’ specifications.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

• Ability to read and comprehend order paperwork and blueprints.
• Ability to spot and correct product defects.
• Ability to recognize different wood species.
• Ability to utilize a Face Framing table.
• Ability to use various hand tools (screw gun, glue bottles, hammer, hand sanders, etc.)
• Ability to use various saws (Table saw, Up-Cut saw, Dado saw, Bandsaw, etc.)
• Ability to use various sanders (Spindle sander, Edge sander, hand sander, etc.)
• Ability to operate a Pocket Hole machine.
• Attention to small details.
• Dedication to keeping a clean, stocked, and well-organized working environment.
• Ability to prioritize and meet project deadlines in a timely manner.
• Willingness to learn other department areas and assist with other duties as assigned.
• Spatial awareness to assist in providing a safe working environment.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

• Measuring skills on a tape measure to nearest 1/16th of an inch.
• Basic mathematical understanding.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or stepstools on an occasional basis.
• Remain constantly standing in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
• Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another on an occasional basis.
• Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.
  • Constant movement of objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional movement of objects up to 50 pounds.
• Constant repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
• Constant operation of machinery and/or power tools.
• Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment on an occasional basis.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months.
• Occasional exposure to noisy environments.
• Occasional exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust.
• Occasional exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of glues or solvents.

JOB LOCATION:

Sullivan, Illinois.

PAY SCALE:

$16.00 to $20.00 an hour. This is based on experience with the potential to increase at 30/90-day performance reviews.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. (40 hours a week).
