Monarch Manufacturing, Inc.’s Red Tag Expeditors are responsible for ensuring that any missing items or defects are corrected prior to shipping. Red Tag Expeditors will work with our Quality Control team members to ensure that all products meet quality expectations. It is because of their attention to detail and organization that our products are able to ship on time and complete.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:

• Ability to read and comprehend order paperwork, including the production schedule and delivery schedule.
• Track product through the shop to assist with turnaround times.
• Ability to make quality repairs on product reworks.
• Attention to small details.
• Ability to verify the job is complete before it leaves the facility.
• Assist with loading and unloading the delivery truck.
• Dedication to keeping a clean and well stocked working environment.
• Cross-train in other areas during department downtime.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Assessing the accuracy, neatness, consistency, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

• Measuring skills on a tape measure to nearest 1/16th of an inch.
• Basic mathematical understanding.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Prior woodworking or cabinetry experience is preferred but not required.
Prior painting or wood repair experience is preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, or stepstools on an occasional basis.
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces on an occasional basis.
• Remain constantly standing/sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.
• Moving about accomplishing tasks or moving from one workstation to another on a constant basis.
• Adjusting or moving objects of varying weights in all directions.
  • Constant movement of objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Constant movement of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Constant movement of objects up to 100 pounds or more with/without assistance.
• Constant repeated motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Occasional exposure to high temperatures during summer months.

• Occasional exposure to airborne particles, specifically sawdust.
• Occasional exposure to hazardous materials, specifically chemical hazards in the form of glues, putties, varnishes, lacquers, and solvents.

JOB LOCATION:

Sullivan, Illinois.

PAY SCALE:

$18.00 to $22.00 an hour. This is based on experience with the potential to increase at 30/90-day performance reviews.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM. (40 hours a week).
