Summary
CENTRAL MONITORING UNIT
Position Summary: Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, provides continuous monitor observation and rhythm strip documentation. Documents and interprets rhythm strips for all patients. Communicates appropriate nurses of changes in cardiac rhythms. As a member of the nursing unit, conducts self to promote an organized and positive environment.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications/Requirements: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School diploma: GED equivalent or High School certificate Education/Knowledge: Experience: Less than one year. Training in Cardiac monitoring and documentation- Certification Preferred.
