Job title: Machine Operator Maybe assigned to any of the following: Flow Wrapper, Mixer, Sheeting Line, Oven, Bagger

Position Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

For each operator position, the Team Member is expected to prep, start-up, maintain operations, troubleshoot, and sanitize machinery for continuous operations during shifts. Job duties will vary dependent on machine operations assignment.

You will be required to maintain data integrity in Factorygram; including downtime, quality, and run information.

Job Requirements Responsibilities and tasks are written as follows:

• • Attend required meetings
• • Maintain Safety and food quality awareness at all times
• • Observe the machine at startup, during runs, and throughout the shift to ensure no issues are present.
• • Make necessary adjustments during product change as some changes have different sizes and configurations.
• • Setup, Inspect, Wipe down, and sanitize the equipment.
• • Contact maintenance or supervisor for any mechanical issues.
• • Communicate with team members during shift change about problems, products running, etc.
• • Maintain toolbox; ensure that all tools and material needed are available.
• • Perform general production duties as needed
• • Wear appropriate PPE- frock, gloves, earplugs, slip-resistant footwear.
• • Must follow GMP Standards.
• • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or new ones may be assigned by Management at any time with or without notice.
• • Comply with all the safety standards and procedures.
• • Support management decisions, talk positively, and encourage a positive work environment.

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following Qualifications

Physical environment/working conditions:
The employee is required to walk; stand; and use hands, fingers, and arms to handle, feel, and reach. This position is regularly exposed to wet, warm, humid and cold temperatures and loud noise levels. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 55 pounds.

Education and Experience
Education, prior work experience, and specialized skill and knowledge:

• • Complete the required onboarding/training period
• • Complete Certification Training (T&D)
• • Complete Certification in Lock Out Tag Out

Language Skills

• • Verbal and written communication skills.
• • Bi-lingual a plus- English/Spanish

• Must be able to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
• Walk on slippery wet surfaces
• Climb small ladders or platforms
• Use small hand tools for assembly of equipment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear 8-9 hrs. Per day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 55 lbs. Must be able to stand for up to 8-9 hrs. Per day.
