Housekeeper - Somerset and Shadyway Apartments

Monroe Group is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team!

We are seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain cleanliness on the property. Our ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, and has an eye for details. Must enjoy working with people and have a passion for customer service!

Summary: Under the supervision and direction of the Community Manager, this position must provide; a clean, sanitary comfortable, orderly and satisfying surrounding for the residents, employees, and visitors. The housekeeper must follow the instructions as given for handling, cleaning, disposing, and moving of objects/materials.

• Cleaning of halls, common areas, and vacant units, to include but not limited to, floors, walls, doors, bathrooms, grounds, stairwells, windows and appliances as instructed
• Develops property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage of buildings and ground
• Maintains appropriate levels of cleaning supply inventory
• Maintains cleaning equipment in working order
• Post notices as needed
• Work with maintenance and community manager for scheduling of vacant unit cleaning
• Decorate for the holidays including the hanging of decorations
• Assist in community meetings, holiday functions, and special resident requests as needed
• Pick up trash
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness
• Assist maintenance team with make-ready's

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS for consideration are:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• English language proficiency (read, speak and write)
• The ability to pass a full background check
• Valid driver's license and vehicle is required
• The work schedule is Monday-Friday

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in an affordable housing environment.
