Monroe Truck Equipment is Hiring a Brake Press Operator- 1st Shift Near Monroe, WI

Midwest’s Largest Truck Equipment Manufacturer and Distributor has an immediate opening for a Brake Press Operator. Build your career with a leading Manufacturer and Distributor of the highest quality Commercial Truck Equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Read job specifications and blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • Set stops and guides to specified length as indicated.
  • Position work pieces against stops or align layout marks with die or blade.
  • Push buttons or depress pedals to activate machines.
  • Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects and machine malfunction.
  • Measure work piece dimensions with necessary tools.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust and scale from work pieces.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance.
  • Trouble shoot machine operations.
  • Spot weld work pieces.
Qualification and Skills:
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Structured training or relevant work experience.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to reason and problem solves as it pertains to position.
  • Ability to learn and navigate manufacturing software.
