ExperienceTwo years as a counselor in an accredited Chemical Dependency Treatment program is preferred.
EducationEducation leading to certification with bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field preferred.
Licensure/CertificationsAmerican Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS is required.
Crisis Prevention Institute, De-escalation training certification must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire is required.
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I, Substance Use Disorder or Alcohol and Other Drug certified through an accredited organization minimum certification level.
