We are a small, well-established CPA firm located in Newport Beach, CA. We have a congenial work environment and offer flexible work hours and a reasonable work / life balance. Okay to work from home up to three days a week if desired. Part-time work is an option if desired by applicant. Compensation commensurate with experience and benefit package available for full-time employees.
Responsibilities:
- Review client provided general ledger and financial statements and prepare journal entries as needed to compile mid-year and year-end financial statements for book and tax purposes;
- Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and exempt organizations tax returns including some multi-state issues;
- Consult with clients and provide tax planning;
- Develop strong working relationships with clients;
- CPA Designation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Master’s Degree in Taxation a plus but not required
- Minimum of 5 years recent public accounting experience
