Overview

Montclair Presbyterian Church’s Nursery Teacher will be responsible for supervising our youngest children in our nursery room with the assistance of an adult volunteer while our church service takes place on Sunday mornings. The Teacher will support our children by providing a consistent, loving presence in our classroom each Sunday, and leading story time (from books provided) when children are ready. The children in our nursery range from 6 months to 4 years old and may be different from week to week.

The Teacher is under the supervision of the Director of Congregational Life.

Compensation

The Teacher will be paid on an hourly basis at a rate of $22 per hour. The regular hours for this position are 9:45 am – 11:15 am on Sundays. Occasionally other hours may be offered, but there is no obligation to take them.
