Job Title: Retail Sales Associate RELOCATING TO SAG HARBOR, NEW YORK

Location: 117 Main St, Sag Harbor, NY

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

Overview:

This is for our new store in Sag Harbor and you must be willing to relocate to Sag Harbor. As a Retail Sales Associate at Montecito Collective, you are the key component to ensuring the overall success of our retail store. Your primary role is customer engagement, providing exceptional and personalized customer service, and giving customers the “best friend” experience. This position involves a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, opening and closing duties, light cleaning, restocking, pricing, creating social media posts, and fostering a welcoming for our customers.

Responsibilities: Include the following but not limited to

  • Greet, interact, and provide assistance to every customer in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • Providing product knowledge to the customer
  • Offering styling tip recommendations
  • Assisting with purchasing decisions, finding specific products, and offering recommendations for the Sag Harbor area to enhance the customer experience
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with efficiency and empathy
  • Prepare the store for daily operations by unlocking the door and ensuring all equipment and systems are functional
  • Placing mannequins out in front of the store to showcase our clothing items
  • Placing our signs out in front of the store and on the street
  • Conduct an initial stock assessment to identify restocking needs for the day
  • Organize displays to create an appealing shopping environment
  • Perform a thorough cleaning of the store premises to maintain cleanliness and tidiness
  • Secure the store by locking all entrances and exits, and conducting a security check
  • Placing all mannequins back inside the store
  • Bring our signs back inside the store
  • Restock and organize merchandise for the next day’s operations
  • Perform closing cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock products to maintain optimal product availability for customers
  • Conduct price checks and ensure accurate pricing of products, adhering to pricing guidelines
  • Label and price merchandise accordingly, ensuring consistency and clarity for customers
  • Organize and clean store display areas and sales counters throughout the day
  • Perform regular light cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping
  • Ensure the store is organized and clean at all times, looking picture-perfect for anyone who comes in
  • TikTok: Create video content of yourself in our clothes to increase online sales
  • Instagram: Create posts and video content of yourself in our clothes to increase traffic to our store and increase online sales

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred
  • Styling experience preferred
  • Exceptionally strong social, interpersonal, and communication skills are required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organization abilities
  • Enthusiastic and friendly demeanor to provide the “best friend” experience to our customers

Hours of Operations:

  • Every day from 10 am-7 pm
  • 4-5 hour shifts
  • 8 hour shifts

Pay:

  • $19/hour
  • Commission
