Montefiore is seeking a passionate and visionary leader to join our Nursing Education department as the Assistant Director of Nursing: Transition to Practice Programs and Simulation (full time). The position plays a key role in developing and implementing innovative educational programs and training strategies for Montefiore's nursing staff. This position will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of nurse residency programs, facilitate the adoption of new technologies and platforms, and lead the integration of simulation learning into nursing education.
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and visionary leader with a deep understanding of nursing education and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Assistant Director of Nursing: Transition to Practice Programs and Simulation maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing’s Social Policy Statement. The Assistant Director Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard, and performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.
