Monterey Wine Company is seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician/Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team. Job Responsibilities:

• Operate Forklifts Safely: Handle and transport materials and equipment throughout the warehouse using forklifts and other handling equipment. Ensure the safety of all operations in accordance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels by conducting physical counts and ensuring all stock is accounted for and properly documented.
• Loading and Unloading: Efficiently load and unload goods from trucks and other transport vehicles, ensuring that products are stored correctly in the warehouse and prepared for shipping or processing.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of goods that are received and shipped out. Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse supervisor or manager immediately.
• Maintenance and Cleanliness: Perform regular maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and maintain cleanliness in the storage areas to keep the working environment orderly and safe.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to optimize warehouse processes and contribute to the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Forklift Operator with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Spanish a plus
