Position: Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school through compliance with state and local regulations, effective management of staffing procedures, and oversight of various administrative functions. This role includes managing licensing and permits, new hire onboarding, employee records, afterschool extra-curricular programs and providers, and scheduling/overseeing the general upkeep and maintenance of the school.

Key Responsibilities (High Level)

1. School Operations:
   1. Ensure compliance with all state and local requirements, including obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and permits.
   2. Maintenance and Repairs
2. Staff Management
   1. Employee Onboarding: Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring successful training and transition into the school community.
   2. Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including licensing and certification requirements.
   3. Manage staff schedules for in-service, holidays, the summer program, and last-minute modifications, as necessary.

4. Interim “Person in Charge” in the absence of the Head of School and Executive Director.
