Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our educational institution's health services team. The School Nurse will play a crucial role in promoting student health and well-being within the school environment.

Duties:

- Provide direct health care services to students and staff
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assess and evaluate students' health conditions
- Develop and implement health care plans for students with chronic illnesses
- Maintain accurate medical records for students
- Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers

Requirements:

- Valid license with experience in medical settings
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in school nursing
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide first aid
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to student care
