Dispute Resolution Team

The Dispute Resolution team at this leading law firm is widely regarded as being one of the strongest practices in the country.

The team handles a broad mix of front end construction matters and complex construction disputes across the Australian market. They are involved in some of Australia's most significant resources and infrastructure projects in LNG, mining, rail and roads.

Position Description

Given a substantial pipeline of construction litigation work due to the nature of the market, the successful candidate will be comfortable with the fact there will be an initial focus on this however they will also be doing front end construction work.

You will be joining the team as a junior to mid level lawyer and there is a Senior Associate position to work closely with a highly successful, top tier trained Partner in the group.

Requirements

You will have between 1-3 years' experience and 4 years in front end or back end construction from a notable practice in Australia or another common law jurisdiction.

In addition, you will have:

• Excellent communication skills;
• A desire to work on large-scale matters in a fast paced environment;
• A developing commercial awareness; and
• A strong academic background.
