The Team

The employment team represents a strong client base, acting in high profile and high-quality matters across both private and public sectors on all aspects of workplace relations. They advise on the full spectrum of employment matters, from recruitment through to management and termination. This involves all facets of employment law, industrial relations, discrimination, WHS and remuneration and diversity.

The Role

Due to growth, there is now exciting opportunities for a Lawyer and a Senior Associate to join the employment team in their Sydney office. This role will see you working on a range of employment law matters such as compliance and regulatory, discrimination, work, health and safety whistleblowing, modern slavery, industrial relations advice and disputation and litigation across most Courts and Tribunals.

Requirements

The successful candidate for the Lawyer role will have between 3 and 5 years PAE. You will need at least 5 years PAE for the Senior Associate role.

In addition, you will have the following:

• A high degree of initiative, dedication and organisational ability with a strong client and commercial focus;
• The capability to work autonomously as well as a team member
• Strong communication skills and practical problem-solving skills;
• A desire to develop and participate in business development initiatives, including seminars and publishing articles;
• A proactive attitude towards personal development to expand your skills
