This position makes rounds of assigned county facilities and safeguards individuals and property. Work includes directing and assisting members of the public visiting the facilities.

* Opening/Closing of facility;

* Daily interior/exterior patrols of facility;

* When required, work with Sheriff's deputies in the operation of security equipment, which includes metal detectors and x-ray equipment;

* Assist and direct visitors, as needed;

* Other, related duties as may be required;

* Schedule will be for weekends and holidays.

* Valid PA driver's license;

* Must be at least 21 years of age;

* Must have prior experience in security or law enforcement;
