Qualifications:

• Must meet the No Child Left Behind requirements: 2-year degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university, or successful completion of Work Keys Test.
• Experience working with junior and senior high school age children.
• Experience working with a detention program is preferred.
• Ability to interact with supervisors, coworkers, and students in various settings

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist in monitoring an in-school detention program at the junior and senior high school level.
• Maintain order, keep class roster and attendance records, and relay instructions and assignments to teachers, students, and administrators.
• Foster a positive relationship with parents, volunteers, and other school visitors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
