Overview

As a Lab Technician at Monticciolo Family & Sedation Dentistry you're not only making a statement that you're committed to providing quality dental care but you're also becoming a part of a fast growing, privately owned dental group in the Tampa Bay Area.You'll work on-site supervising both crown and bridge, denture processes and staff.

You'll also enjoy regular hours, a competitive salary and benefit package as well as the opportunity to advance.As a manager, you will lead the operational and fiscal activities of the dental laboratory.

Align the operational strategy to support the Company's business strategy. Maintain and continue to develop systems and procedures to improve operating quality, obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations, and maximize profits of the unit by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

Manage operational and fiscal activities to meet staffing levels, budgets, and financial goals. Set operational strategy of division to be in alignment with and in support of the Company's overall business strategy. Monitor and coordinates all dental laboratory operations and increase operational quality and efficiency. Ensure productivity and quality goals are met by monitoring production, problem-solving production issues, and motivating employees. Monitor quality issues and works closely with Quality Control to address all the problems regarding quality standards.

Oversee work schedule for scheduling, distribution, quality control, and other supervisors. Follow-up on specific requests made by doctors on specific cases, as necessary. Provides assistance and training to technicians that require further educational instruction. Establishes employee goals and conducts employee performance reviews. Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problems.

Address all employee relations matters in a timely manner in coordination with Human Resources. Ensure all direct reports understand the performance standards of their department and have a clear understanding of their own individual performance. Perform other related duties and projects as business needs require in the direction of management. Minimum ten (7) years of experience in the dental industry.

Minimum five (5) years of managerial experience. Communication Skills: Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner. Must be able to read, interpret, and communicate standard operating procedures and applicable technical information.
