Monument Group is Hiring a Fundraising Coordinator Analyst (“FCA”) Near Boston, MA

Across offices in Boston, London, Amsterdam and Asia, the firm advises and assists on capital formation and liquidity solutions, including primary fundraising, secondaries, capital solutions and advisory services for both general and limited partners globally. 

Role Description

The FCA will support senior investment team members to facilitate the firm’s advisory, fundraising and marketing efforts by assisting with internal organization and the preparation of client deliverables. Specific responsibilities of the FCA include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Working as part of a project management team to track and report investor interest in a thorough and organized manner
  • Working with the senior investment team to assist with targeting prospects for client meetings/calls
  • Assisting the investment team to ensure systematic and proactive investor follow-up
  • Conduct industry market research on investor groups (pensions, foundations, family offices) and build the internal database and fundraising campaigns
  • Regular Salesforce responsibilities including data entry, reporting and data analysis; provide database support to other users
  • Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and internal deliverables
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (this is an entry level position)
  • Energetic self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a cooperative and professional attitude
  • Be innovative and solution-oriented with the desire to work in a small, entrepreneurial, team-based environment
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, excellent attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgment
  • Ability to work with a singular focus or on several projects simultaneously, both independently and collaboratively.
  • General interest in and general knowledge of investments.
  • High proficiency in use of excel spreadsheet analytics, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and experience with salesforce would be a plus
