Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating high-quality sushi dishes and have a strong background in Japanese cuisine.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare sushi rolls, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Help in creating new sushi recipes and menu items
- Adhere to food safety standards and practices
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role
- Proficiency in Japanese cuisine and traditional sushi preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knife skills and attention to detail
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Certification in food handling is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
