Brief DescriptionAs the Staff Accountant, you will partner with the Assistant Controller and Manager of Credit and Collections to support the day-to-day accounting operations within the manufacturing divisions of Moore.

Your impact:
  • Performs daily cash management responsibilities including booking daily banking activity, maintaining the daily cash flow and billings/booking records.
  • Processes daily billing and invoices, including invoice distribution.
  • Reporting responsibilities include updating of quarterly reports and monthly projections.
  • Performs monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assists Assistant Controller with month-end closing process.
  • Processes credit card transactions and reviews credit hold releases for accounts with pending orders.
  • Reviews and responds to customer inquiries.
Your Profile:
  • At least 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience in combination with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Additional work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general accounting procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
