Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, organizing documents and office storage, maintaining office supplies and equipment, filling in for Accounts Receivable and/or lab scheduling.

You must have an excellent work ethic, good organizational skills, and the ability to work with the Morehouse team to solve problems and learn every day to provide our customers with the best quality product in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

· Organizing documents and office storage

· Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate staff members or departments

· Drop off sensitive mail to the post office

· Pick up supplies for some company and/or team events

· Help with any overflow office work

· Interact effectively with the team

· Perform data entry and update records as needed

Qualifications and Requirements for this position:

· 2 years of related work experience or an associate degree in a similar field

· Knowledge of or experience in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or other CRM, ERP, and/or financial software

· Ability to work as a team with other team members and individually

· Excellent attention to detail

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Ability to simplify things for both customers and internal team members

· Ability to solve problems and ask questions

· Ability to have professional phone etiquette when communicating with internal and external contacts

Job Type: Part-time

Work Week: Flexible options (MWF or Tues-Thurs)

Hours: 5-7 hours a day with an adjustable work schedule.

Pay: Hourly, $19-22 dollars an hour. Wth an additional profit-sharing plan that all employees are eligible for.

Expected hours: 15 – 21 per week
