Morgan Benjamin Search Group is Hiring a Human Resources Benefits Near Parsippany, NJ

***This position is 100% in-office in Parsippany, NJ. Eventually there will be an opportunity for hybrid work.***

Compensation- Starting at $80k

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage various employee benefit plans (life, health, dental, disability insurance, etc.) in multiple locations.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Support various HR activities and functions.

Key Duties:

  • Analyze and compare benefit plans with industry standards; provide recommendations to management.
  • Administer benefit plans: address inquiries, resolve claims issues, manage open enrollment, and communicate with employees.
  • Handle government reporting and compliance for benefits.
  • Oversee privacy regulation processes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and address discrepancies.
  • Administer leave of absence policies and manage accommodation requests.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal leave laws.
  • Evaluate departmental reports and suggest improvements.
  • Manage documentation for various benefits claims.
  • Oversee employee assistance programs.
  • Conduct benefit orientations and training for new hires and managers.
  • Manage onboarding and related processes in collaboration with HRIS.
  • Perform activities related to compliance regulations.
  • Maintain and protect employee records and compensation information.
  • Update and manage HR information systems and compile relevant reports.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies; maintain employee handbooks.
  • Assist with departmental projects and provide back-up for payroll as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 3-5 years of HR experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, internet software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills: ability to interpret documents, write reports, and present effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret various types of instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.
