Electrical Designer/Drafter

Position Summary:

Due to growth, we are looking for a full-time Electrical Designer/Estimator to join our team in Alliance, Ohio.

Responsibilities:

• Strong organizational and time management skills and be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
•  Ability to work with project managers, field employees, and clients to develop designs, and drawings, and create plan sets for control panels and field projects. 
• Must have the ability to use visualization and graphics to create, review, and audit designs using AutoCAD
• Knowledge to provide design support and documentation throughout the project and through close-out and ensure that designs and drawings are in accordance with company and design standards.
• A basic knowledge of electrical components and control panels.
• Ordering, receiving, and organizing electrical components.
• A desire for learning and deploying new technology to grow and change

Qualifications:

• Experience with AutoCAD with the knowledge or the ability to learn AutoCAD Electric sufficiently to create a complete plan set for issue to clients.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Must maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with the ability to travel to meetings and job sites.

• Must have basic knowledge of the electrical trade with an interest in learning the automation industry.
• Must have a curiosity and affinity for learning and deploying new technology to grow and change to exceed client's expectations.
