Our client located in Kansas City is looking to add an HRIS Director to their ever-growing team. This person will be responsible for the development, modification and operation of the HR Information Systems to support the needs of business planning and operations for the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee HR system projects, collaborating with project managers to meet goals and timelines.
• Coordinate communications and training for HR/Finance system changes, including leadership forums and training materials.
• Manage system upgrades, ensuring quality preparations, testing, documentation, data validation, and clear communication.
• Gather and define user requirements, conduct product analysis, and identify business system issues.
• Manage HRIS staff, including hiring, development, performance evaluation, and corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and support to HR leaders in using dedicated systems to achieve desired outcomes.
• Oversee system testing, develop and maintain test scripts, and ensure successful business processes.
• Manage vendor relationships, stay current with system functionality, and ensure timely support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources with 7-10 years of experience with HR business processes, including 2 years in leadership.
• Experience with Workday systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR operations and employee data management.
• Proven project management skills and ability to apply analytical methods to systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of defining system problems, evaluating user needs, and recommending solutions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft systems and adaptability to new technologies.
• Residency in Kansas City is required for this hybrid role.
