Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and schedules in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data, resolve discrepancies, and support decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the annual audit process by providing documentation, explanations, and assistance as needed.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the accounting function.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA is a plus.
