Job Title: Bilingual Case Manager (Temporary to Permanent) - Refugee Resettlement
Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation: $21.00/hr with potential for permanent placement, free parking provided

Job Summary: The Bilingual Case Manager I (SAS) - Social Adjustment Services plays a pivotal role in recruiting eligible refugee clients for enrollment in the SAS program. Responsible for intake, assessment, and high-quality case management services, the Case Manager I ensures that services are provided in accordance with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) policy.
Principal Duties:
Assess client eligibility for Social Adjustment Services, conduct intakes, and develop individualized service plans.
Provide services as outlined in the service plan in a timely manner, making necessary referrals within and outside the agency as required.
Ensure services are delivered in accordance with LEP policy, maintaining cultural sensitivity.
Maintain client files, update case notes, and manage calendars.
Track all client information and activities in Client Track and Refugee Management Solution.
Assist with outreach activities, volunteer and intern training, airport pick-ups, and other projects as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
One (1) year of experience in an administrative setting or within refugee populations.
Valid Texas driver's license.
Key Competencies:
Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Cultural sensitivity and understanding of the refugee experience.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to case management.
