We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Loan Administrator to join our dynamic team in Bethesda, MD. This is a hybrid remote position, allowing for a flexible work environment.

Job Summary:

The Construction Loan Administrator will be responsible for managing the administration of construction loans, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, and providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the commercial construction industry and experience in loan processing and administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Management: Administer and manage all aspects of construction loans from origination to closing, including document preparation, disbursement of funds, and loan monitoring.
  • Compliance: Ensure all loans comply with regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan files.
  • Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, builders, and other stakeholders. Provide timely and effective communication to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review loan documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with legal, underwriting, and other departments as necessary.
  • Disbursement: Oversee the disbursement process, including draw requests and inspection reports. Ensure timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze loan reports for management. Track loan performance and identify potential issues.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to loan administration. Escalate complex issues to senior management as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve loan administration processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction loan administration, with a strong understanding of the commercial construction industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in loan management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of construction loan processes, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
