How You Will Make an Impact?
The Controller will direct all accounting functions, ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines, direct annual budget process including standards development, develop budgets and forecasts for short and long term planning, and provide analysis to support corporate decision making.
The Nuts and Bolts
Direct all accounting functions, including but not limited to AP, AR, Payroll, Tax and financial reporting, financial and bank audits
Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting guidelines
Direct annual budgeting process
Develop forecasts and budgets for short and long term planning
Provide analysis to support corporate decision-making
Direct the efforts of all accounting employees
Other duties as assigned
Required Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance
CPA, CMA, or MBA desirable
10 years in accounting with at least 5 years in a management or controller role
3-5 years in a manufacturing accounting position
High level of proficiency using PC spreadsheets (Excel preferred)
You Must Be Able to
Willingness to travel up to 15%
Working in an office environment in a seated position a minimum of eight hours per day is required.
The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
