Duties & Responsibilities:The Endowed Chair should be a senior faculty member with a well-established record of external funding and publications.The scholar’s experience should include health disparities, work with underserved populations, social justice, public policy, access issues or other topics.The applicant should also have experience in overseeing research teams and mentoring new research faculty as well as students.Collaborate in strategic planning and administrative oversight for researchInteract with government and industry in Maryland and beyond and advocate for and promote MSU in national and international forums.
